About the Local Authors
Carey Jackson-Adams is an art teacher who firmly believes life is better with paint under your fingernails and a cat on your keyboard. When she's not sharing the joy of making art with teenagers, she's either traveling somewhere new for inspiration or hoarding art supplies-occasionally pausing to rescue her favorite paintbrush from beneath a snoring beagle.
Michelle Osborne is an art educator by day and a full-time animal wrangler by night. When she's not teaching art and helping young artists discover their creative superpowers, she's at home negotiating studio space with her many dogs and cats. Fueled by coffee and crayons, Michelle believes every story is better with a little color and a lot of imagination.
Dr. Jill Hare is a music teacher, composer, and multi-instrumentalist who believes music education should come with plenty of wiggles, giggles, and a lot of creativity.
